Posting blogs can be a great way to improve SEO if done right. For starters, search engines value websites that are actively being worked on and updated. Posting blogs is a great way to tell Google that your website has fresh content that is new and relevant.

Another benefit of blogs are that they allow you to target specific keywords or key phrases. A personal favorite strategy of mine is to write a blog based around a long-tail keyword (i.e. “How to Find the Best SEO Consultant in Buffalo, NY”) as they usually have less competition than broad keywords (i.e. “Buffalo SEO”).
